Here's what would happen if you tried to dig to China

To dig to China , you'd need to start your journey from Chile or Argentina - the location of China's antipode. You would need a super-powered drill to get through rock and metal within Earth's three layers. First, there's the Earth's crust. It's the thinnest of three main layers, yet humans have never drilled all the way through it. Then, the mantle makes up a whopping 84% of the planet's volume.
