Inovio sinks 26% after US government decides to discontinue funding for next phase of COVID-19 vaccine trial

Inovio tumbled nearly 30% on Friday after the company said the government will stop funding a late-stage study of its COVID-19 vaccine candidate.
Inovio said the decision stems from the 'rapid deployment of vaccines' and isn't a reflection on its INO-4800 candidate.
The biotech firm said it will work with its global partners on the Phase 3 vaccine trial.

Airlines are hurrying to add flights to Tel Aviv since groups of foreign tourists who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 will be allowed into Israel from May 23.

In the midst of an increase in Covid cases, the government has made those associated with travel and tourism the priority group for getting Covid vaccination in the Kashmir Valley.
According to the divisional commissioner Kashmir PK Pole, Deputy Commissioners and Director Tourism have been asked to vaccinate people immediately who are associated with the tourism and transport sector.
