Hainan Province is geared up to turn into an international tourism consumption center in 5 years

In the coming five years, Hainan Province in South China is all geared up to turn itself into an international tourism consumption center. As per the work report of the government delivered on Sunday at the annual session of the provincial people's congress, the added value of tourism will account for 12 percent of Hainan's GDP in the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025).
Hainan will introduce 160 new domestic and international air routes, bringing the total to 646 in the coming five years, growing accessible cities to 200 and the passenger throughput to 60 million.

Adventure tourism in Kargil to be promoted involving local youth

The Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel said that the central government will work to leverage the potential of adventure tourism in Ladakh's Kargil and provide facilities to local youth for luring tourists from around the world.

The Union Tourism and Culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel said that Leh-Ladakh and Kargil are being developed in a swift way after abrogation of Article 370 for making them an international tourism center.
