Nau Mai Tours showing nooks and crannies of Taranaki region

It's been almost two years since Lonely Planet named Taranaki the second best region in the world. Since then, tourism is booming in the region.
New figures from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment said that tourism spending for Taranaki for the year to June 2018 is at $396 million, marking a 12 per cent increase from last year. About $83 million of that was by international visitors.
With more people deciding to divert from New Zealand's main tourist route and visit the region, Gina and Tama Blackburn saw a gap in the market and started Nau Mai Tours.

Beauty queen from Vietnam crowned World Miss Tourism Ambassador this year in Thailand

Last week, a beauty queen from Vietnam was crowned World Miss Tourism Ambassador this year after a pageant that was held over 15 days in Thailand.
On August 8, Phan Thi Mo, who was born in 1990 in Tien Giang province, became a winner beating 49 other contestants from around the world and was crowned World Miss Tourism Ambassador 2018. She also ranked in the top 18 in the category of Best Body and also won Best Costume for Tourism Promotion. Throughout the contest, she won applause from the judges and the audience present over there.
