Fraudulent unemployment claims have cost the US tens of billions of dollars since the pandemic began. Congress and the Biden administration need to crack down on this abuse

Since the start of the pandemic, California has paid out billions of dollars in fraudulent unemployment payments. It's estimated that $63 billion in improper payments have been made nationwide.
Congress needs to ensure more protections against fraud are in place.
Congress should hold hearings on this nationwide problem before more taxpayer dollars are wasted.
