The US just became the world's top oil producer - but that may not last long under Trump's Iran policies

The US likely surpassed Saudi Arabia and Russia as the world's top crude producer, according to the Energy Information Administration.
The change comes at a time when the oil market is already facing a high degree of uncertainty, partly due to the Trump administration's decision to cut Iranian oil imports to zero.
Saudi Arabia and Russia recently agreed to step up production in the face of US sanctions against Iranian crude barrels.
