Almost 4,000 people signed up for Hive.com on Monday, far above the site's normal average, per MarketWatch.
Many of those signing up had mistaken the management platform for social-media site, Hive Social.
Hive.com has also seen a 330% increase in its daily web traffic recently, a spokesperson for the company said.

A software developer found over 137,000 people paid for Twitter Blue, the New York Times reported.
The typical Twitter Blue subscriber had 560 followers and many were far-right accounts.
Thousands of subscribers were linked to far-right accounts flagged for posting extremist content.
