Kamala Harris will become the first woman to have control over US nuclear weapons, but only briefly

President Joe Biden will briefly transfer presidential authority to Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday.
That includes the ability to use nuclear weapons, making Harris the first woman in US history with that authority.
Harris' codes will become active with the power transfer, and she will have access to a nuclear football, an expert said.
