More than 16 million Brits defy government advice and head off for summer holiday

There are more than16 million Brits will defy the United Kingdom government's advice and head off for a holiday abroad this summer tourism season. One in five are considering heading to an amber list country - with half of those planning on jetting off to the Spanish Costas.
Most of the UK based travel firms behind the research want the price of testing to be slashed so people can safely head abroad. The youngsters aged between 18 and 24 are the most likely to jet away - despite not yet being jabbed.
