More people have died of COVID-19 in 2021 than in 2020 and it's only June

Coronavirus deaths in 2021 have already overtaken the total deaths from the virus in 2020.
That's according to Johns Hopkins University data analysed by The Wall Street Journal.
According to the paper's analysis, the tipping point was June 10.

Singapore set to ease COVID-19 regulations from June 14

On Thursday, Singapore government announced that it is planning to start easing COVID-related restrictions starting June 14 as the number of daily COVID-19 cases has reduced. The country is currently following stringent curbs introduced to prevent the spread of new coronavirus cases.
Strict measures introduced last month included no dining-in at food and beverage outlets and smaller social gatherings. However, the Ministry of Health said Singapore will gradually reopen and move to phase three in two steps.
