President Jovenel Moïse was assassinated at home in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on July 7.
On June 7, the alleged mastermind, Christian Sanon, tweeted he wanted a "transitional government."
Sanon and several alleged assassins flew by private jet to Haiti around the same time as the tweet, police said.
